Mark Farina
Since 1989, Mark Farina has been traveling the globe performing at literally hundreds of shows a year, sometimes DJing both of his preferred styles in two different rooms at the same party. At other events, he’s been known to play extended sets that lasted over eight hours. In his House sets, Mark is known for his uniquely effortless journeys on the jazzy side of Chicago House, mixed up San Fran style.

Derrick Carter
Derrick Carter is widely acknowledged as one of the best DJs in the world. With innovative productions, flawless technical skills, and an effortlessly joyful attitude for rocking a crowd, his influence has permeated the spectrum of dance music. In 1988 he released an EP with Mark Farina and Chris Nazuka as the group Symbols & Instruments. The record had a strong influence on the burgeoning ambient techno movement in England and established Derrick as an international figure in the underground dance-music scene.

Whirling Dervish Productions has produced underground electronic dance events for discerning music and live performance aficionados in Denver for over 10 years. A collaboration between The Brown Elvis Presents and Mental of the Fantastic Hosts, Whirling Dervish came together out of the need for higher-quality underground music experiences in the Denver area.
