Sonny Fodera has had his foot on the peddle since his debut at 23. Curating a sound that is completely his own, the now globally-renowned, London-based, DJ-producer, label head and in demand collaborator has become a staple name within the dance music scene.
In the latest of Sonny’s accolades, this past year he broke new ground with smash hit ‘Asking’ alongside MK and Clementine Douglas. The release was launched independently
on his label Solotoko, proving that independent releases have the potential to become gold records as the first artist-owned dance label to achieve a Top 10 single in over a decade.
‘Asking’ broke 100M worldwide streams, earning a total of 500K OCC Single Sales in 2023 alone, spending 27 weeks in the UK Top 40 Chart with a peak at no.7 and now awarded with Gold Accreditation. This huge, record breaking achievement was driven by loyal support including playlisting across on BBC Radio 1 for 11 weeks as well as landing playlist adds across KISS FM, Capital Dance and the Hits Network. Elsewhere, the track had been tagged on Shazam more than 350K times and peaked at no.3 on the UK Shazam Top 200 Chart.
Returning to his Solotoko imprint for April 5th 2024, Sonny Fodera delivers a track that only ‘Asking’ can rival. ‘Mind Still’ features the talents of vocalist blythe, and as always Sonny creates a melodic, liquid and fast paced track that is truly addictive, made with dance floor appeal and sure to reign radio airwaves once more.
Over the course of his career that has brought him to his point, Sonny Fodera has gained Silver Certified records with dance hits ‘You and I’ and ‘One Night’. The numbers speak for themselves, with 6.5M monthly Spotify listeners, and his very own independent ‘Wide Awake’ album earning 19.4M streams and totalling five albums to his name, the popularity for Sonny’s music shows zero signs of slowing down, but only growing year on year.
Meanwhile, Sonny is proud to add multiple collabs to his endless vault of anthems, working with the likes of Diplo, MK, Sinead Harnett, Becky Hill, Jazzy, Belters Only and Gorgon City to name only a few, whilst championing the next wave of emerging talent to turn heads in the industry through his impressive Solotoko release schedule.

The rest of his remaining packed tour schedule gets set for his biggest stage yet. Sonny Fodera plays a sold out show at Alexandra Palace in London followed by an after party at contemporary arts and events space HERE at Outernet. His biggest performance of the year and his career to date, the show sets the tone for another impressive summer ahead with further dates across Australia including 170 Russell in Melbourne, Ivy in Sydney and Oasis in Brisbane, followed by his Ibiza residency, Reading and Leeds festival plus many more UK and European dates.
